Is it really free?

Tracking is free and stays free: unlimited agents and queries, the Sheet with undo, your materials, the Waiting Room and no-response dates, import and export. Plus ($10 a month or $79 a year) is for having QueryTrenches watch, alert and sort things for you, such as replies captured from your email and instant alerts. Every new account gets 30 days of Plus with no card, and if you don’t continue, nothing you’ve tracked is deleted.

What happens to my email?

Only the query emails you choose reach QueryTrenches, at a private address that’s yours alone. Each one becomes a suggested update to your sheet, such as “full request from Jane Doe”, for you to confirm. Nobody reads them. The emails themselves are deleted after 30 days; what they changed on your sheet stays. You can delete them all anytime.

Do you use AI?

Never to write anything. An optional sorting step can help file an agent’s reply under the right status, and nothing changes on your sheet until you confirm it. Your emails are never used to train AI.

Can I bring my QueryTracker history?

Yes. Bring your queries from QueryTracker or any spreadsheet. You’ll see everything before it’s saved, with your dates read the way you wrote them.

Is this connected to QueryTracker or QueryManager?

No. QueryTrenches is independent and isn’t affiliated with either. It works with the emails they already send you, and never signs in anywhere on your behalf.

Do I have to connect my inbox?

No. Everything works by hand, too: add an agent, change a status, and the dates and counts follow. Connecting your inbox (a Plus feature, free for your first 30 days) just saves you the bookkeeping.

Who can see my data?

Only you. Your books, queries, letters and emails are private to your account, and never sold. The agent directory is shared, but nothing from your queries or emails goes into it. Where your data is kept, and who helps us run the service, is set out in the privacy policy.

What if I want to leave?

Export everything in one download, then delete your account from Settings. It’s removed for good, not hidden.
